  • bacon or sausage grease
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk and water (3 parts milk, 1 part water)
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Use a whisk to stir flour into the bacon or sausage grease in the skillet.
  2. Wait until the mixture bubbles, then add the milk and water mixture.
  3. Stir constantly to prevent lumps and ensure smoothness.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cook on low heat until the gravy thickens and is heated through.
