Ingredients

  • 6 pieces bread
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 to 7 eggs
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. In a large casserole greased with margarine, break up the bread.
  2. Grate the Cheddar cheese and mix it with the bread.
  3. In a blender, quickly mix eggs and milk.
  4. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the bread and cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour; 35 to 40 minutes covered, then 20 to 25 minutes uncovered.
