Ingredients

  • 3 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts (pignoli)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic or 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup grated fresh parmesan
  • 1/4 cup grated fresh asiago
  • 1/4 cup grated fresh romano
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, salt and pepper until smooth.
  2. Add cheeses and blend until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate in covered bowl for 1 hour.
