  • 9 slices whole wheat bread
  • sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler and line a cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Cut each slice of bread into 4 pieces.
  3. Cut slices of sharp Cheddar cheese to fit each piece of bread.
  4. Place the cheese slices on top of the bread pieces on the prepared cookie sheet.
  5. Broil until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned, about 2-3 minutes.
