Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp. solid shortening

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
  2. Mix the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and confectioners sugar together with your hands until smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on the waxed paper.
  4. Refrigerate the peanut butter balls until firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips with the solid shortening in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  7. Place the coated balls back on the waxed paper and refrigerate until the chocolate is set.
