Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo, softened
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 12 oz. jar peanut butter
  • 6 oz. bag chocolate chips
  • 1/2 bar paraffin

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly mix softened oleo, powdered sugar, vanilla, and peanut butter until smooth.
  2. Roll the dough into small, teaspoon-sized balls.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin together in a double boiler, keeping the mixture on low heat.
  4. Using a toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, leaving a small gap at the top to mimic a buckeye nut.
  5. Place the coated balls on wax paper to set.
  6. Refrigerate the cookies until the chocolate hardens completely.
