Ingredients

  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 2 lb. creamy peanut butter
  • 3 lb. 10x sugar
  • 2 (12 oz.) packages semi-sweet chips
  • 1/2 bar paraffin wax

Instructions

  1. Mix peanut butter and margarine with powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Form the mixture into balls about the size of chestnuts.
  3. Refrigerate the balls overnight.
  4. Slowly melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and paraffin wax together in a double boiler.
  5. Using a toothpick, dip cold peanut butter balls into the melted chocolate until fully covered.
  6. Drop the coated balls onto wax paper to set.
  7. Allow the chocolate coating to set completely.
  8. Touch up any spots left by the toothpick with a dab of melted chocolate.
