Ingredients

  • 1 long loaf French or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the bread lengthwise, but not all the way through.
  2. Soften the butter and mix in the parsley and green onion.
  3. Spread the herb butter mixture in the center of the bread.
  4. Close the bread and wrap it in aluminum foil.
  5. Bake in a 400°F oven for 10 minutes or until the butter melts.
  6. Slice the bread and serve warm.
