  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Cream 1/2 cup butter or margarine; add 1 cup brown sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer.
  2. Gradually add flour, mixing well.
  3. Press the mixture into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and set aside.
