Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally; boil for 7 minutes.
  3. After boiling for 7 minutes, add vanilla; stir to mix well.
  4. Serve warm with pancakes or waffles.
