- Put two egg roll skins together and cut into thirds.
- Seal both ends of each piece with water.
- Cut a 1 1/2-inch slit in the center of each egg roll skin piece.
- Fold the skin back and around through the slit to form a loose bow or butterfly shape.
- Heat oil to 375°F.
- Deep fry the shaped skins until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and sift powdered sugar or drizzle Karo syrup or light corn syrup over the skins.
