Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. onion flakes
  • 1 cup picante or salsa
  • 2 lb. sausage, browned and crumbled
  • 3 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Stew cabbage, onion flakes, and salsa with enough water to make a desirable amount of liquor.
  2. Add browned and crumbled sausage and cooked rice to the stew.
  3. Cook together for 15 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Serve with garlic toast or cornbread.
