Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon small green tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat the white vinegar, sugar, and salt to a boil.
  2. Add the chopped onions, bell peppers, and green tomatoes to the boiling liquid.
  3. Simmer on low until the tomatoes turn gray.
  4. Do not boil after adding the vegetables.
  5. Seal the hot mixture in sterile jars.
