Vibrant and sweet fruit and cake kabobs offer a delightful combination of fresh pineapple, strawberries, and airy angel food cake, perfect for a light dessert or snack.

Ingredients

  • 18 (1-inch) cubes fresh pineapple or 8 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 12 medium strawberries
  • 12 (1-inch) cubes angel food cake
  • 2 Tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine

Instructions

  1. Thread the pineapple cubes, strawberries, and angel food cake cubes onto the bamboo skewers alternately to create colorful kabobs.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the margarine over low heat.
  3. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips to the melted margarine and stir until smooth.
  4. Drizzle or dip the assembled kabobs into the melted chocolate mixture for a sweet coating.
