- Cut 1/2 cup soft butter into the cake mix and press into the bottom of a cake pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until browned.
- Spread drained crushed fruit evenly over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top of the fruit layer.
- Bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
- Cool for 30 minutes before serving.
