Cake With Blueberries-Cherry

Ingredients

  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. margarine or butter (half and half)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cans pie filling (1 blueberry and 1 cherry)
  • cinnamon and sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, margarine or butter and eggs by hand until soft.
  2. Divide in half.
  3. Put one-half in refrigerator.
  4. Spread dough into ungreased large pan and then pour pie filling over dough.
  5. (Note:
  6. Any pie filling flavor can be used.)
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over filling. Take the rest of the dough and break over top of filling.
  8. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
  9. Lower oven temperature to 350° and continue to bake for 45 minutes (1 hour all together).
