Ingredients

  • 2 c. grated Colby cheese
  • 7 to 10 green onions
  • 2 c. mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Cut one loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
  2. Spread the mayonnaise evenly over both halves of the bread.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Colby cheese and chopped green onions over the mayonnaise.
  4. Place the bread halves on a cookie sheet, buttered side up.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes at 325°F (163°C).
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  7. Cut into slices and serve.
