Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 40 Ritz crackers
  • chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, margarine, and sugar together in a saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Boil hard for three minutes.
  4. Place Ritz crackers on a cookie sheet.
  5. Pour the hot mixture over the crackers.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly over the crackers with a spoon.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the crackers.
  8. Bake in a preheated 300°F (150°C) oven for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool on aluminum foil.
