Ingredients

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • 12 cup golden raisin
  • 14 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250F.
  2. Mix together oats, nuts, wheat germ, brown sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl mix together honey, vanilla and oil.
  4. Pour the honey mixture into the dry mixture and combine thoroughly.
  5. Spread the mixture into a large baking dish (like a lasagna or jelly roll pan) thinly so that it barely covers the dish.
  6. Bake at 250 F for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and add raisins.
