Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 stick softened margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pound confectioners sugar
  • 16 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons solid shortening

Instructions

  1. Mix peanut butter, margarine, vanilla, and confectioners sugar together until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls.
  3. Place the balls on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
  4. Refrigerate until the balls are firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips with solid shortening.
  6. Dip or coat the peanut butter balls in the melted chocolate.
  7. Let the coated balls set until the chocolate hardens.
