Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups raw peanuts

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and cook on high heat until the sugar is melted.
  2. Add the raw peanuts to the sugar water mixture and continue cooking until the sugar turns back to a solid form, coating the nuts.
  3. Pour the coated nuts onto a cookie sheet and bake in a 250°F (120°C) oven for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to keep the nuts separated.
