Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 ounces Spanish peanuts
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons food coloring

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a frying pan.
  2. Stir constantly and cook until the mixture crystallizes onto the nuts and the liquid is gone.
  3. Remove the nuts from the pan and spread them on a greased cookie sheet to cool.
