Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Boil sugars and milk until syrup forms a soft ball in cold water (232°).
  2. Add butter; remove from heat.
  3. Cool to lukewarm (110°).
  4. Beat until thick and creamy and of right consistency to spread.
