Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 oz. Martha White Bix-Mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 4 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  3. Combine biscuit mix and milk in a large mixing bowl; stir until smooth.
  4. Add melted butter, beaten egg, dry mustard, crushed red pepper (if using), and grated cheddar cheese; blend well.
  5. Spread dough evenly in the prepared pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  8. Cut into 3 x 3/4-inch strips to serve.
