Ingredients

  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crumb rusk
  • 1 large box Milk Duds

Instructions

  1. Whip the egg yolks until thick, then add sugar and crushed rusk, mixing well.
  2. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites into the yolk mixture.
  3. Grease a baking pan, pour in the batter, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt Milk Duds and 1/4 cup margarine until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup powdered sugar into the melted mixture.
  6. Pour the caramel mixture over the baked cake and let it cool.
  7. Serve the torte with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
