A flavorful, spicy salsa made with stewed tomatoes, green chilies, jalapenos, and taco seasoning, perfect for accompanying Mexican dishes or as a zesty dip for parties.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 3 (3 oz.) cans green chilies
  • 1 can jalapeno peppers
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
  2. Cook over low heat until the desired thickness is reached.
  3. Pack the hot salsa into 6 clean, hot pint jars and seal.
  4. Process the jars in a boiling water bath for 20 minutes.
