Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Milk to make 1 cup total liquid

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Add milk to the white vinegar to make 1 cup total liquid.
  3. Add the milk mixture and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients.
  4. Stir until moistened.
  5. Add a little more flour and turn the dough over in the bowl.
  6. Pour some oil into an 8-inch round baking pan.
  7. Oil your hands and spoon a large amount of dough into your hands.
  8. Form a ball with the dough.
  9. Place the ball in the pan and pat with oiled hands.
  10. Make 5 biscuits in total.
  11. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20 minutes.
