Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Layer the lettuce in the bottom of a serving dish.
  2. Add a layer of chopped cauliflower on top of the lettuce.
  3. Spread a layer of mayonnaise over the cauliflower.
  4. Crumble the fried bacon evenly over the mayonnaise layer.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the bacon.
  6. Sprinkle sugar evenly over the entire salad.
  7. Refrigerate for several hours to allow flavors to meld.
  8. Toss the salad well before serving to distribute the sugar evenly and prevent grittiness.
