Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the cauliflower, then break into flowerets.
  2. Precook the cauliflower in boiling salted water for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Combine flour and seasoned bread crumbs in a plastic bag.
  5. Add cauliflower florets to the bag and shake to coat well.
  6. Fry the coated cauliflower in butter until golden brown, turning frequently.
  7. Serve promptly.
