Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • medium head of cabbage, shredded

Instructions

  1. Brown the minced onion and lean ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place half of the shredded cabbage in a casserole dish.
  4. Pour the browned beef and onion mixture over the cabbage layer.
  5. Add the remaining shredded cabbage on top of the meat.
  6. Pour the can of tomato soup over the entire casserole.
  7. Cover the dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
