Celebration Rice

Instructions
- Melt margarine in 4-quart Dutch oven. Saute green onion and carrots in melted margarine.
- Add rice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until rice is opaque.
- Add bouillon, thyme and water. Cook over high heat until mixture comes to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in parsley. Serve.
- Serves 12.
