Ingredients

  • 20 large tomatoes
  • 10 large onions
  • 3 red sweet peppers
  • 4 stalks celery, cut fine
  • 3 Tbsp salt
  • 3 c vinegar
  • 4 c sugar

Instructions

  1. Put tomatoes, onions, and peppers through a food chopper.
  2. Combine the chopped mixture with salt, vinegar, sugar, and finely cut celery.
  3. Cook over low heat until the mixture thickens, which takes about all day.
  4. Pour the hot sauce into jars and seal.
