Ingredients

  • 2 lb. large shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup olive or cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup finely snipped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine oil, chopped onion, white wine, lemon juice, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, dill weed, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Place the shrimp in a plastic bag and set in a deep bowl.
  3. Pour the marinade over the shrimp.
  4. Close the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. Drain the shrimp, reserving the marinade.
