Cheddar Olives are savory stuffed green olives wrapped in crispy bacon, offering a perfect blend of salty, cheesy, and smoky flavors ideal for appetizers or parties.

Ingredients

  • 28 large pimento-stuffed green olives
  • 2 cups grated sharp Cheddar
  • 1/2 pound sliced bacon

Instructions

  1. Halve the olives lengthwise.
  2. Remove the pimentos and chop them finely.
  3. Blend the chopped pimentos with the grated sharp Cheddar cheese.
  4. Stuff each olive half with the cheese mixture and press halves together.
  5. Cut the bacon slices in half.
  6. Wrap each stuffed olive with half a slice of bacon.
  7. Secure the bacon-wrapped olives with a toothpick.
  8. Broil the olives for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until the bacon is crisp.
