Ingredients

  • 9 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 13 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 sleeve butter crackers

Instructions

  1. Cook apples until tender.
  2. Drain the cooked apples.
  3. Place the drained apples in a buttered casserole dish.
  4. Mix the remaining ingredients: flour, sugar, grated Cheddar cheese, margarine, and crushed butter crackers.
  5. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
