Cheese-Bacon Biscuits are savory, flaky biscuits infused with sharp cheddar cheese and crispy bacon bits, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or snacking with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • about 3/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, cheese, bacon, and milk to form a sticky dough.
  2. Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and knead 10 times.
  3. Turn the dough so the smooth side is up and pat out to 1/2-inch thickness.
  4. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter dipped in flour.
  5. Place the biscuits on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 450°F for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
