Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice potatoes, then place them in a large pot.
  2. Fry bacon until crispy, break into pieces, and add to the pot.
  3. Dice the onion and add it to the pot.
  4. Pour in milk and cream, add salt, sugar, pepper, and butter.
  5. Cook uncovered over very low heat for 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Sprinkle chopped parsley on each bowl as a garnish before serving.
