Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. crescent rolls (Pillsbury)
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Remove crescent rolls from the package and pat one package of crescent dough carefully on the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, and lemon juice together.
  3. Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the dough in the pan.
  4. Cover with the remaining crescent dough.
  5. Beat egg white until foamy and spread it on top of the dough.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
