A creamy, cheesy stuffed bread with a soft rye exterior, perfect for sharing at casual gatherings or as a savory snack with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium loaf rye bread
  • 1 large package cream cheese
  • 6 or 8 oz Wispride cheese spread
  • 1/2 cup ginger ale

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese and Wispride cheese spread.
  2. Cream together the softened cheeses.
  3. Add ginger ale to the cheese mixture and mix well.
  4. Chill the cheese mixture until ready to use.
  5. Cut the top off the loaf of rye bread and remove the center to create a hollow cavity.
  6. Break the removed bread into small chunks.
  7. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the chilled cheese mixture.
  8. Place the bread chunks around the filled bread inside the hollow.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
