Cheese knots are savory, cheesy breadstick knots with a crispy cereal coating, perfect as an appetizer or snack for gatherings or casual family meals.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Rice Krispies
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can refrigerator biscuits (10 count)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Coarsely crush Rice Krispies.
  3. Melt margarine in a small pan.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Separate refrigerator biscuits and cut each in half.
  6. Press each biscuit half into the butter, cheese, and cereal mixture.
  7. Roll each biscuit piece into an 8-inch stick with your hands.
  8. Gently tie each stick to form a knot.
  9. Place the knots on an ungreased baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, until lightly brown.
