Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 can LeSueur peas

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and gradually stir in flour.
  2. Slowly stir in milk until the mixture thickens.
  3. Add grated cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Drain the peas and add them to the cheese sauce.
  5. Continue to simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
