Cheese pizza puffs are crispy, cheesy bites with a burst of flavor, perfect as appetizers or snacks for parties, family gatherings, or game day cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuits (10 pack)
  • dried oregano
  • garlic powder
  • 5 oz. mozzarella cheese (10 cubes)

Instructions

  1. Lightly coat a cookie sheet with nonstick vegetable spray; set aside.
  2. Separate the dough into 10 pieces.
  3. Make an indentation in the center of each piece with your thumb.
  4. Lightly sprinkle each indentation with dried oregano and garlic powder.
  5. Top each with a cube of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Pull the dough over the cheese and firmly pinch the edges together to enclose the cheese completely.
  7. Place on the cookie sheet, seam side down, 2 inches apart.
  8. Repeat with remaining biscuits.
  9. Lightly brush the tops with pizza sauce.
