Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread, unsliced (day old)
  • 2 jars Old English sharp cheese
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Cut the crust off the loaf of Italian bread and cut into strips using an electric knife.
  2. Beat the Old English sharp cheese, margarine, and eggs together with a mixer until well combined.
  3. Brush the bread strips with the cheese mixture and place them on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  5. Optionally, spray the cookie sheet with Pam before baking for easier cleanup.
