Ingredients

  • 4 oz. package chicken flavored rice and sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2.8 oz. can French fried onions (about 1 1/3 cups)
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1 cup pepper
  • 1 cup cubed pasteurized process cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine the rice mix and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in 2/3 cup of French fried onions, broccoli, pepper, and cheese.
  3. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes or until the rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Just before serving, sprinkle the remaining 2/3 cup of fried onions over the rice.
