Ingredients

  • 6 large peeled red onions
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, place onions in water to cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove onions from water.
  3. Secure an onion with one fork and pull out a 1/2 inch onion center with another fork.
  4. Fill the hollowed-out onions with grated Cheddar cheese.
  5. Place the stuffed onions in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes until tender and cheese is melted.
