Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine melted
  • 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup instant potatoes

Instructions

  1. Mix melted margarine, sugar, and coconut flavoring in a bowl.
  2. Add the egg and beat with a spoon until well combined.
  3. Stir in Bisquick mix and instant potatoes until the dough forms.
  4. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  5. Shape the chilled dough into two rolls.
  6. Cut each roll into four long strips and then cut off thumb-sized pieces from each strip.
  7. Place the pieces on an ungreased baking sheet and lightly press each down.
  8. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 7 to 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Remove from oven, use a spatula to transfer to a clean towel, and let cool.
