- Mix melted margarine, sugar, and coconut flavoring in a bowl.
- Add the egg and beat with a spoon until well combined.
- Stir in Bisquick mix and instant potatoes until the dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a clean towel and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Shape the chilled dough into two rolls.
- Cut each roll into four long strips and then cut off thumb-sized pieces from each strip.
- Place the pieces on an ungreased baking sheet and lightly press each down.
- Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 7 to 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven, use a spatula to transfer to a clean towel, and let cool.
