Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 cans green beans
  • 1 can French fried onion rings
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tsp. slivered almonds
  • 1 small jar whole mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Layer alternate layers of green beans and fried onion rings in a casserole dish.
  2. Mix cream of mushroom soup, whole mushrooms, and slivered almonds with the reserved liquid from the green beans.
  3. Pour the mushroom mixture over the layered green beans and onions.
  4. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
