"Cheezy Squares"

Ingredients

  • 2 jars Old English cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 red pepper, chopped finely
  • 1 1/4 sticks margarine
  • very thin sliced bread (Pepperidge Farm is preferred)
  • bacon, partially cooked and cut into small squares

Instructions

  1. Cream together Old English cheese, egg, chopped pepper and margarine.
  2. Spread on slices of bread.
  3. Cut in quarters and cover top and sides with spread.
  4. Top with small square of partially cooked bacon.
  5. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. Better if frozen first.
