Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add sour cream and beaten eggs to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Heat hot grease in a deep fryer or large pot.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot grease.
  5. Fry until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels before serving.
