Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. angel food cake mix
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 c. marshmallow creme
  • 1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the angel food cake mix as directed on the package, adding almond extract with the water.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased pan.
  3. Bake and cool the cake as directed on the package.
  4. Remove the cake from the pan and spread marshmallow creme over the top.
  5. Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the marshmallow layer.
  6. Sprinkle toasted sliced almonds on top before serving.
